Additionally, and very important, under the revised law from April 2023 besides the increase of the amount to 500.000€, in the above areas of Greece, the overall investment must apply for only One Property.

All remaining areas in the country will continue to have as a minimum investment the 250,000€ and will continue to be either for a single or multiple properties.

A single buyer or an investor that wishes to buy a property in Greece from distance; may any time proceed with the signing of POA in their country of origin, without visiting Greece, at

  1. a) the Greek Consulate and    b) at any foreign public notary

provided that the power of attorney (POA) is certified with the Apostille Stamp or legalized by the Greek Consulate.
